Do I need my own instrument at home?
Not for the trial lesson. For ongoing practice between sessions, we'll advise what's suitable for your child's age and level.
How do I choose between Group, Dual and Individual?
Individual gives the most personalised pace, Dual suits siblings or friends learning together, and Group works well for confident beginners who enjoy a class setting.
Can siblings or friends join the same class?
Yes, Dual is built for exactly that, and Group classes suit a few friends at a similar level.
What if my child needs to miss a lesson?
Let the studio know in advance and we'll advise on rescheduling within the program's standard make-up policy.
What happens after the 8 lessons end?
Students who want to continue can move into Focus Music's regular term courses at the same pace they've built during the holidays.
Is the program held only during school holidays?
Yes, this 8-lesson format runs specifically during the school holiday periods; regular term courses run at other times of year.
Is there a minimum age?
The program suits school-age children and teenagers; younger children can be assessed individually at the trial lesson.
