Chen Yifang (Founder / Managing Director)

Miss Yifang graduated from a top overseas music conservatory, majoring in Pop Vocal and Performing Arts in 1994. She then embarked on a 23-year musical journey focused on the development of vocal foundations and pop music. As a dedicated and passionate vocal coach, Yifang has spent the past 23 years specializing in building strong vocal fundamentals for adult learners and vocal professionals. Her students are deeply impressed by her passion, discipline, and rigorous teaching style.

In 2004 and 2005, Yifang was appointed as a vocal coach at the Music and Arts Centre (ITE) and also served as a Mandarin vocal instructor for NTUC’s P.L.A.Y. program. She has been invited as a keynote speaker for community singing programs organized by the National Arts Council and has frequently served as a judge for various singing competitions in Singapore, including being a regular guest judge for Mediacorp TV’s “Golden Age Talentime Singing Contest.”

Wu Jia Ming

Teacher Wu Jia Ming is a very outstanding local musician in Singapore. During the period 1985/1986, he participated in a competition called ‘Talentime’ and was announced the champion.

His song [小人物的心声] won the hearts of Singaporeans. He also sang the theme song for TV Show [五脚基] called [我的生活在这里] which was well-known everywhere.

During the past years, Teacher Wu Jia Ming had contributed a lot in the local music industry.His performance as Singapore Broadcasting Singer during the period 1986 till 1992 had been well recognized and affirmed.

In 1987, he achieved nationwide ‘Best Singer’ for TV Series. In 1992, he switched over to behind the scenes working as sound engineer, arranger, producer, harmony writing & singing harmony.

During the period, 1996 - 1998, he served as EMI (HK) in-house producer.

Teacher Wu Jia Ming is well-known as Harmony Angel and has worked alongside many well-known singers such as Jacky Cheung and David Tao during their world tour concert.

Other concerts he has participated in includes Tsai Chin (Esplanade), Eric Moo, Fann Woon Fong, Phill Chang, A-Do, Frances Yip, Jenny Tseng, Tayu Lo, Steve Chou and Heart to Heart Concert.

For the past two years, he has been teaching as a vocal teacher in 影视周 刊公司.

Artists that he has worked with such as Joey Yung Cho Yee, Ronald Cheng, Cass Phang, Julian Cheung, Suzanne Hsiao, B.A.D, Dreamz FM, One Fifth, Eric Moo (Song ‘太傻‘), Fann Woon Fong, Christopher Lee, Kym Ng, Lee Wei Shiong, Lee Si Shiong, Sun Ho, Steve Chou (Song ‘黄昏’), Nicholas Teo, Joi Chua, Singapore Superstar Collection.

Jacklyn Liew (Vocal Coach - Director)

WOWMUSIC has been collaborating with Focus Music and involved in various performances. Founder of Wowmusic’s Jacklyn Liew is also a respected Judge in “黃金年華” Golden Age Talentime Singapore and an experienced Vocal Instructor.

- Year 2018, SPH held “我最會唱” singing contest and I came in 2nd place.
- 1st place in “Dream Cruise” singing competition, was competing with contestants from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
- Top 8 in 醉心龍虎榜 singing competition held by YES 93.3 and 972.
- Recorded “信望愛 詩歌集 寬容“ with renowned Singapore musician Mr 方鐘樺.
- Recorded an MTV “心靈之光” with the singers of 黃金年華.
- Participated in many musical related activities when I was younger. Musical journey resumed after 15 years of break.
- Singing has always been my passion.
- I like to work with musicians in every ages, I can learn different things from them.
- I believe there are different stories and perspectives in every life phases, with this from them, has enriched my music world.

Fong Mok Seong (Guitar Instructor)

20 years of Guitar playing experience in a folk restaurant/ music bar

He used to be a performing artist on the well-known international travel platform world venture (Singapore Station), and also served as a guitarist at the Singapore Arts Festival Xinyao song concert.

He also has rich experience in songwriting and has served as one of the judges for the Singapore National College Chinese Songwriting Competition “The Dream Composition” for many years.

His well-known composition includes Rainie Yang < <可爱 Ke Ai> >, Andy Lau < <真心话 Zhen Xin Hua> >, and Kaira Gong < <放不下 Fang Bu Xia> >.

Ng Guo Liang (Vocal/Keyboard Instructor)

A self-taught and formal music lesson hybrid, he has closed to 9 years of vocal and keyboard/piano performance experience.

During school terms, Guo Liang participated and hosted numerous singing performances and showcases for his school clubs. He was also one of the panellist judge for his school club's singing and music performance audition. Fun fact, he was a member of his school marching band too.

Over the years, Guo Liang has been on multiple performances externally such as gig/busking opportunities, private invitations, local competitions etc.

Every voice and every musical perspective is different and uniquely personalised to everyone. Guo Liang wishes to take this opportunity to strengthen you in other aspects of vocal and/or instrument performance, improve fundamentals and techniques, cater changes to habitual wrong approaches to singing and/or instrument performance etc.

Be it singing and performing leisurely as a hobbyist or training for an up-and-coming dream towards the music industry as a singer or musician, you will find joy and comfort in music learning as he will bring you hand in hand closer towards your goal.

Gary Tan (Vocal Instructor)

In 1998, after graduating from the Singapore Armed Forces Music & Drama Company, Gary officially embarked on his journey in music education. He has devoted himself to vocal teaching for 27 years. A versatile figure, he also took on the role of radio host in the 2001–2002 YES 933FM program “Music Forest”.

Beyond his own impressive competition record, Teacher Junping has nurtured countless successful students over the years. Among them are professional singers such as “Iron Lung Diva” Yang Qianhong, Zheng Xiaohui, and Chen Sidian. As a mentor with Singapore’s People’s Association, he has never wavered in his determination to cultivate more rising talents, hoping to pass on everything he has mastered throughout his life.

Sun Xu (Vocal Instructor)

She studied at Raffles Music College in Singapore and later earned her master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of West London in the UK, receiving systematic training in the European school of vocal art. She studied under soprano Qin Fei, who built her career in Germany, and also received professional guidance from Huang He, a master’s-level vocal instructor at Northeast Normal University. Her singing style blends Eastern and Western influences, with a voice that is expressive and artistically compelling, supported by extensive stage experience and strong teaching ability.

She began learning classical piano at the age of 11 and later studied a variety of instruments, giving her unique insights into cultivating well-rounded musicianship. This diverse musical background enriches her vocal teaching with broader perspectives and methods.

2019: First Prize in the Professional Category of the 10th Liaoning Provincial University Student Vocal and Piano Competition
2020: Participated in the “Into Italy” vocal masterclass led by renowned vocal educator Professor Song Yi
2021: Participated in a masterclass with Li Xiang, tenor of the China National Opera House and National Class-One Performer
2023: Won the Gold Medal in European Classical Vocal Music, showcasing outstanding artistic strength
2023: Awarded a First-Class Certificate at the 15th St. Petersburg International Music and Arts Festival

As a young vocal instructor, she specializes in classical singing techniques, Chinese and foreign art songs, and operatic excerpts. In her teaching, she emphasizes the integration of scientific vocal methods with musical expressiveness, balancing solid technical training with the development of individuality. She is adept at tailoring her teaching approach to each student’s vocal range, timbre, and artistic direction, creating personalized learning plans that support both technical and artistic growth.

Li Teng (Guitar/Keyboard/Ukulele/Electric Guitar/bass/Vocal instructor)

Li Teng graduated from the Musicians Institute in the United States. He is an exclusive signed original artist under Tencent Music, with over 27 million total plays across platforms and six official music recommendations.

He has worked as a guitarist for Universal Dongyin Beijing, performed in numerous band concerts, and is also skilled in playing the keyboard, bass, and drums. His major was composition, and he is proficient in arranging, scoring, composing, mixing, and big band jazz arrangement, among various other music production skills.

Benny Zhao (Vocal/Guitar/Keyboard/Ukulele/Bass Intructor)

Graduated from a professional music conservatory, with extensive performance and teaching experience. During university studies, presented a solo concert every academic year.

In 2009, formed the first band as lead vocalist; in 2012, formed a second band as lead guitarist; and in 2015, formed a third band as bassist. Performed at the China MIDI Music Festival and participated in nationwide tours.

Awarded Third Place in the regional round of The Voice of China (2011) and Second Place in the regional round of Xiang Chang Jiu Chang (2012), among other major competitions. Possesses many years of live and resident performance experience.

Has over 10 years of teaching experience, beginning part-time guitar instruction in high school in 2008 and continuing through university. Worked as a music teacher in a primary school (2015–2016) and later at a children’s art academy (from 2017).

Served as a Guitar Examination Examiner for the Nanjing Conservatory of Music (2017) and a Vocal Examination Examiner for the China Conservatory of Music, Nanjing Region (2018). In 2023, represented the Sino-French Music Exchange Association.

Has taught over 1,000 students, ranging from 5 to 60 years old, and has received multiple national and regional awards for excellence in music education.
