Fang Chen (Director)
Graduated from an overseas Top Music Institution, Fang majored in Advanced Musicology and Performing Arts back in 1994 before spending over 10 years of her musical journey, specializing in the Development of Vocal Fundamentals and Classical Vocal Production. As a dedicated and inspiring educator in vocal training, Fang has established an active career in developing fundamentals vocal techniques and skills for young and aspiring vocalists and artistes in Singapore for over 10 years. She is well-known amongst her students for her motivating, stern and unyielding coaching style. Fang was the appointed trainer for the Centre of Music & the Arts (ITE) in year 2004 and 2005 and NTUC P.L.A.Y. Mandarin Singing Training. She was also invited to be the guest speaker of “Arts for all - Community Sing-Along 2009” Seminars, organized by the National Arts Council, as well judging for many major singing competitions in Singapore.
Jeff Teay (Vocal instructor)
Being one of the top 24 finalists of Project Superstar 2, Jeff has been an in-house vocal training instructor for Focus Music - Pop Singing Course since 2007. His jovial yet stern style of coaching was well received
by many students. Besides being active in the entertainment industry, Jeff also has many performing and judging experiences, such as his role as the “Little Yellow Bean” for local music variety show “Music in the
Air”, and appearing as the “Stars of Tomorrow” for local variety game show “I Luv Sunday”. He was also invited as a guest performer at various concerts such as “Late Night at Esplanade” - Li FeiHui Concert 2007”,
Star Virgo Concerts, “Li FeiHui – 20 Years Tribute 2008” at Esplanade Concert Hall and more. Jeff was a judge at the Inter-secondary school singing competition finals 2007 and was also chosen as the performing artiste
for the original song composition for “S-Pop Hurray!” – Song writing Competition 2008.
Yan Yu Tian (Guitar Instructor)
Mr Tian is the instructor for our Pop Guitar Course. His expertise in guitar stretched beyond 30 years. He has lived in Taipei from the year 1986 to 2000. His ample experience in live performances was mainly gain
over his stay, as he had performed in music cafes for more than 10 years in Taiwan. On top of that, he has also published more than 40 songs in the mid-1990s. In his classes, Mr Tian emphasizes on
live performance skills. This gives his students the opportunity to grasp performance skills and build a strong foundation for live performances over the course.

Grace Qiu (Vocal and keyboard instructor)
Grace graduated from Beijing Qianjin University school of Music education where she specializes in piano, music theory and vocal performance. In 2000, she formed her own band with a group of music loving companions and they performed at varies places in Harbin. Under recommendation, Grace came to Singapore to perform in 2004. She was able to sing while seamlessly playing her instrument . Grace returned to China briefly in 2006 and was rehired in 2008 by the same company as a piano accompanist. While working as an accompanist, Grace also teaches vocal techniques part time. She taught her students how to project their voices, how to listen to the accompaniment and vocal skills used in Pop songs. Grace is a highly professional music teacher with solid foundations and rich experience performing Pop songs live. With her duel focus of Professional music literacy and practical live performing skills, we are certain her students can improve tremendously.
Lin Si Tong (Vocal & Keyboard Instructor)
Si Tong began her performer role at the age of 20, where she started gaining experience from unpaid gigs and shows. Slowly and steadily, she built up her profile and now, she has been invited to perform in many cafes, events and shows by many famous organizations, with the most recent one being Singapore’s Chingay 2014, where she was one of the finale theme song singers, as well as guest artiste for Singapore Hits Awards 2014 roadshow (新加坡金曲奖入围名单发布会2014) to announce the nomination lists.
As a music instructor, Si Tong has been invited to be the guest speaker for music talks and conducted many music workshops at various MOE and tertiary schools, i.e. Anderson Primary School, Raffles Girls’ Primary School, Tanjong Katong Girls’ School, Cedar Girls’ School, Nan Chiau High School, Pei Tong Primary School, Hwa Chong International School, Raffles Institution, Rosyth School, Ang Mo Kio Secondary School, NAFA, Maha Bodhi School, Kranji Secondary School, Chong Fu Primary School, Springdale Primary School, Anchor Green Primary School, Pioneer Primary School, and Damai Primary School. She has also been training students in London College of Music’s Popular Music Vocals examination grades all the way up to Diploma (DipLCM) standard, with most students achieving distinction grades. She is definitely one who inspires many.
Zhenliang (Vocal Instructor)
As a performer and local artiste, Zhenliang started off the lead singer of local band DFC 大风吹 (2008 Singapore Mediacorp Channel U Reality Band competition, Superband, as 1st Runner-Up) having released an EP “DFC大风吹 debut” in 2009. With a flair in song writing, Zhenliang has penned songs and lyrics not only for the band, whose EP “大风吹” was nominated for “Best Indie Production” at FM100.3's e-Awards in 2010, but also for TV dramas which aired on CCTV China (“最初的回忆” for《行医》) and regional artistes like Hacken Lee, Lee Wei Song, Julie Tan陈欣淇 and etc. Zhenliang has years of experiences in teaching pop singing and has been invited as guest speaker to conduct music talks and various music workshops with MOE and Private schools. Xu GuangLi (Allen) (Vocal Instructor) ,
graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts in Broadcast Media Diploma. Allen came in touch with Music by the influence of his parents . The first album he got was Michael Jackson’s “BAD” he felt in love with Michael`s songs and grew up with his music . He participated in his secondary school singing competition “KCP Super Star” and emerged as champion for the Solo Category. This is his first achievement in his music path .Because of his passion for music , he also took part in many competitions and performances in Singapore . Joined "Power Duet" National Singing Competition in 2009 and "Singapore Pop" in 2010 respectively, of which his group emerged as the Grand Champion , Allen also joined “Sunsilk Academy Fantasia” and performed at “Chong Feng” “Chinese Festival Of Art” Resort World Sentosa for National Day Celebrations and many other performance under local company, "Tan Chang Ren Music". Allen also Sings in Pubs at Hood Bar and Shuffle . Since from young his passion in music become more and more so he start to learn music by himself , things like music arrangement and music composing , Allen also did music arrangement for Local Artist E.T Ong and his EP which published in iTunes.
Yi Ling (Vocal Instructor)
Yi Ling began singing at the age of 12 with a group of friend who share the same interest and have never stop singing since then. She believes that singing is a way to move one's soul and music is the source of the
most intense emotions one can feel. Over these years, Yi Ling start to uncover her desire to help individuals explore their own singing talents. Most people often look for "singing lessons" when they look
to begin singing. However, Yi Ling believes that learning to sing is about "voice lessons", as she will teach you to master the use of your natural instrument, which is your own unique voice. To her, she believes
that if one has passion to learn and put in hard work to fine tune the appropriate singing technique, everyone will be able to find their own inner voice and present the best singing style of themselves.
